Aviation Nation

We attended Aviation Nation this weekend. It was an exhausting experience but it was also a good reminder of how much we need to support our current troops and our veterans. They had some awesome displays and "Air battles" including pyrotechnics to help portray actual bombing and shooting. That was the kids favorite part but I actually found it to be kind of gruesome and morbid. Nonetheless, it did give me a new appreication for all that continues to be at stake in Iraq and an increased gratitude for those who serve in the Military, past and present. The flying was so precise that it could even be described as beautiful and artistic. Here are the pics...they don't really do the expereince justice.
